🥘 Ingredients
Ribs
  • 1 rack baby back ribs (about 2 lbs, membrane removed)
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Finishing
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
📝 Instructions
  1. Remove membrane from back of ribs — slide knife under and peel with paper towel. Shared 💡 Removing membrane lets rub and smoke penetrate meat.
  2. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, cayenne. Massage rub into ribs. Shared 💡 Massage rub in — do not just sprinkle.
  3. Preheat Ninja on Air Fry at 350°F for 3 minutes. Shared 💡 350°F is rib sweet spot — renders fat without burning.
  4. Cut rack in half. Curl each half into basket. Air Fry 350°F for 15 min. Top Oven 💡 Curling the rack fits and exposes more surface area.
  5. Flip meat-side down. Air Fry 350°F for 8 more minutes. Top Oven 💡 Flipping ensures even cooking through the rack.
  6. Brush all over with BBQ sauce. Air Fry 2-3 more min until tacky. Top Oven 💡 Sauce at the END only — sugars burn quickly.
  7. Rest 5 min, then slice between bones. Shared 💡 Resting redistributes juices. Sharp knife between each bone.
💡 Ninja Tips

Remove membrane — non-negotiable. Massage rub into meat. Curl rack to fit. Sauce at very end. 190-200°F internal for fall-apart tender.
