💡 Air fry basket with parchment. Breaded shrimp in single layer for maximum crispiness. Use a solid pan (not the basket) — this recipe contains liquids.
🥘 Ingredients
Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tail off)
Coating
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp honey
Garnish
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
📝 Instructions
  1. Pat shrimp completely dry. Set up breading: cornstarch, eggs, panko. Shared 💡 Dry shrimp = crispy coating. Tail-off for easier eating.
  2. Dredge each shrimp in cornstarch, then egg, then panko. Press firmly. Shared 💡 Cornstarch first = lighter, crispier crust than flour.
  3. Preheat Ninja on Air Fry at 400°F. Spray shrimp generously with oil. Shared 💡 Oil spray is mandatory for golden panko color.
  4. Place shrimp in pan single layer. Air Fry at 400°F for 4 min, flip, 4 more. Top Oven 💡 Shrimp cook FAST — do not overcook or they turn rubbery.
  5. Meanwhile whisk mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey for sauce. Shared 💡 Adjust sriracha to your heat tolerance.
  6. Toss hot crispy shrimp in bang bang sauce. Shared 💡 Light toss — just enough to coat, not drown.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately. Shared 💡 Best eaten right away while shrimp are hot and crisp.
💡 Ninja Tips

Dry shrimp thoroughly. Cornstarch = lighter crust. Spray with oil. Shrimp cook in 8 minutes max — do not overcook. Sauce is adjustable — start with less sriracha.
