  • 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced against grain)
Veg
  • 12 oz broccoli florets (fresh)
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (toasted)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
Cooking
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
📝 Instructions
  1. Slice flank steak thinly against the grain. Toss with 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Shared 💡 Freeze steak 20 min for easier paper-thin slicing.
  2. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger for the sauce. Shared 💡 Cornstarch creates that glossy takeout-style coating.
  3. Preheat Ninja on Air Fry at 400°F. Spread beef in pan. Cook 4-5 minutes until browned. Top Oven 💡 High heat sears beef quickly without overcooking.
  4. Add broccoli florets. Drizzle with remaining oil. Cook 4 more minutes until broccoli is crisp-tender. Top Oven 💡 Broccoli should still have bite — do not overcook.
  5. Pour sauce over beef and broccoli. Toss to coat. Cook 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens. Top Oven 💡 Sauce should be glossy and cling to every piece.
  6. Top with sesame seeds. Serve immediately over steamed rice. Shared 💡 The cornstarch sauce thickens as it cools — serve hot.
💡 Ninja Tips

Slice beef against the grain for tenderness. Partially freeze beef 30 min for easier thin slicing. Broccoli should still have a slight crunch.
