🥘 Ingredients
Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tail on)
Marinade
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (fresh, about 2 limes)
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin (ground)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp cilantro (chopped)
Serving
  • 1 lime (cut into wedges)
📝 Instructions
  1. Whisk olive oil, lime juice, zest, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne, salt. Shared 💡 Zest limes BEFORE juicing — always.
  2. Toss shrimp in marinade. Let sit 10 minutes at room temp — no longer or lime cooks the shrimp. Shared 💡 10 minutes max — lime acid starts to cook the protein.
  3. Preheat Ninja on Air Fry at 400°F for 3 minutes. Shared 💡 High heat for quick char on the shrimp.
  4. Place shrimp in pan single layer. Air Fry at 400°F for 3 minutes, flip, 3 more. Top Oven 💡 Shrimp curl into a C-shape when done — do not let them coil into an O.
  5. Shrimp are done when pink and opaque. Rest 2 minutes. Shared 💡 C-shape = perfectly cooked. O-shape = overcooked.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and extra lime wedges. Shared 💡 Fresh lime squeeze right before eating amplifies everything.
💡 Ninja Tips

Marinate 10 min max — lime cooks shrimp. C-shape = done, O-shape = overcooked. High heat, quick cook. Perfect for tacos, salads, or rice bowls.
