Crab
  • 1 lb lump crab meat (picked over for shells)
Binder
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
Assembly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for spraying)
Serving
  • 1/4 cup remoulade sauce (for serving)
📝 Instructions
  1. Gently pick through crab meat for any shell fragments. Do not break up lumps. Shared 💡 Lump crab = premium texture. Handle like gold.
  2. Whisk mayo, egg, Dijon, Worcestershire, Old Bay, lemon juice. Fold in crab and parsley GENTLY. Shared 💡 Fold, do not stir — preserve those beautiful crab lumps.
  3. Add 1/2 cup panko. Mix just until combined. Chill 15 minutes to firm up. Shared 💡 Chilling helps cakes hold their shape during cooking.
  4. Form into 6 cakes about 3/4 inch thick. Press extra panko on outside. Shared 💡 Gentle pat — do not compact the crab.
  5. Preheat Ninja on Air Fry at 390°F. Spray cakes with oil on both sides. Shared 💡 Oil spray creates the golden crust.
