  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on)
Herb Butter
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Garnish
  • 4 lemon slices (for topping)
📝 Instructions
  1. Mix melted butter with lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Shared 💡 Zest lemon BEFORE juicing — much easier.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This is crucial for a good sear. Shared 💡 Dry salmon = better texture. Do not skip this step.
  3. Preheat Ninja on Air Fry at 390°F. Place salmon skin-side down on parchment in basket. Shared 💡 Parchment prevents skin from sticking to the basket.
  4. Brush fillets generously with herb butter. Top with lemon slices. Top Oven 💡 Lemon slices protect the surface and infuse flavor.
  5. Cook 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and internal temp reaches 145°F. Top Oven 💡 Salmon changes from translucent to opaque as it cooks.
  6. Rest 2 minutes. Spoon any butter from the parchment over the top before serving. Shared 💡 That butter on the parchment is flavorful — do not waste it.
💡 Ninja Tips

Wild salmon cooks faster than farmed — check 2 minutes early. Look for opaque color and easy flaking. Parchment prevents skin sticking.
