Crust
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Filling
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup (dark)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
📝 Instructions
  1. Mix crust ingredients. Press firmly into parchment-lined 8x8. Shared
  2. Pre-bake crust at 335°F, 8 min until set. Top Oven
  3. Whisk eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour over hot crust. Shared 💡 Pour on hot crust = better bonding.
  4. Bake 16-18 min until filling set with slight jiggle. Cool COMPLETELY before cutting. Top Oven 💡 Cutting too early = gooey mess.

Pre-bake crust. Pour filling on hot crust. Cool completely — no shortcuts.
